The bright world of underglaze unlocks so many design possibilities that help create pieces that are oh-so-you. But for all its versatility, underglaze can be frustratingly tricky to master—with countless nuances to application, brush technique, color combos, and not to mention a whole buttload of troubleshooting. Ugh!

Lead by local artist & illustrator Erika Rier, this two-day workshop is your quick, but focused guide to navigating the ins and outs of underglaze. She’ll share the hardwon tips & tricks she’s uncovered that have allowed her to translate her drawings from canvases to cups, and from diaries to dishware!

• Experience Requirement: Basic familiarity with underglazes

• What's included: Materials and tools for use during the workshop

• What you'll be working on: Students will be provided a set of 4 dessert plates (~6" wide) as canvases, or may bring their own greenware equivalent.
